First Maui Health System Baby Born
On July 1 at 1:37 a.m., Kaizen Cababat was born at Maui Memorial Medical Center making him the first Maui Health System baby.
Mom Bridgette Fermin and dad, Kristopher Cababat arrived at the hospital at 12:30 a.m. and gave birth to their healthy and handsome 7-pound 2-ounce, 21-inch baby, just over an hour later. Kaizen is Bridgette’s second child and big sister Khryzten (age 7), was ecstatic about meeting her baby brother.
“It was fast and easy,” said Bridgette, adding that she wasn’t aware of the big transition happening around her.
