Maui Health System Names Tara Cole As Human Resources Director
Wailuku, Hawaii (August 31, 2017) – Tara Cole has joined Maui Health System as Human Resources Director. Cole brings nearly 20 years of recruitment, payroll, benefits and labor relations experience to Maui.
“I am excited to join the leadership team for Maui Health System and to collaborate with the staff at Maui Memorial Medical Center, Kula Hospital and Lana‘I Community Hospital,” said Cole, “This is an exciting time in the history of healthcare in Maui and Lana‘I, as we work to improve healthcare for our patients and the community.”
Cole comes to Maui Health System from Island Air, where she served as Human Resources Director, and previously spent over five years as the Senior Employee and Labor Relations Consultant with Kaiser Permanente Hawaii. Her healthcare leadership experience also includes positions at Hawaii Pacific Health.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Fresno State University and holds a certificate in human resource management from Portland State University.
Cole is relocating from Honolulu, Hawaii. She enjoys traveling with friends, spending time with family, shopping, professional football and time on the beach.
