Maui Health System Hosts Annual Stroke Awareness Community Health Fair
Maui Health System is excited to announce the annual Stroke Awareness Event – a community health fair celebrating National Stroke Awareness Month – on Thursday, May 2, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Medical Center. The event is free and open to the public and will include informational booths with hands-on activities, entertainment by Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Cody Pueo Pata, food and refreshments, photo booth, prizes and more. Special guest speakers from the Maui medical community will lend their expertise, discussing topics around the event theme, “Stroke: Preventable, Treatable, Beatable.”
The event schedule is as follows:
4 to 5 p.m. Community Health Fair – Courtyard
• Over 20 exhibitor booths featuring various local businesses and community partners
• Keiki Zumba
• Complimentary food and refreshments
• Award-winning entertainment with Cody Pueo Pata
• Photo booth and enter-to-win prize drawings
5 to 6:30 p.m. Education for Patients and Families – Auditorium
